The tomatos datterino is a variety of sweet tomato cultivated on the Sannite hills, in the municipality of San Bartolomeo in Galdo, in the province of Benevento, at an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level.
Harvesting is done by hand and canning the same day, thus keeping intact both the freshness that the sweetness of the product.
Low in calories, the datterino is rich in minerals, vitamins and antioxidants for healthy skin.
Its aromatic taste is particularly sweet and is ideal for many dishes based on fish and even a tasty sauce for pasta.
